Eldest son has just been given a polytunnel frame.  Any recommendations on best place to source a cover?

Fleabay if you want a cheap and cheerful, ready shaped cover. Other than that,  any of the major polytunnel companies if you want long-life and a guarantee, but they will just be sheets of plastic which you'll need to fit/cut to shape yourself.
Good luck!
