Just obtained this machine. It runs but not well. Poor compression 55psi and evidence of fuel mixture exiting engine around crankshaft so possibly a blown seal. Any advice eg  Which JAP engine is it ? Any manual available ? Any tips about removing flywheel ? Many thanks Tony

Replace the piston rings. As long as the barrel is not scored or severely worn this should do the trick
