Okay so i have a 18 week old Amber Star Hen.
I got them about 3 weeks ago and the other 3 have taken well to living with my rhode island reds however one of them has become quite ill her tail is drooped she has a pale colour she still eats and drinks however she struggles to get into the coop at night unlike the others who put themselves to bed. So i have to pick her up. She's not in pain but just not her self.
Is there anyway i can cure her ?

How is she today?

Has she perked up Chicken Star? If not, can you give us a little more info - have you checked her for mites, what is she being fed on, has she been wormed, has she started laying yet, is her breathing normal, any nasal discharge or sneezing? x

have you felt under her wing to see what her temperature is and then compared it to another hen (using the same hand)? What are her poohs like?

Thanks for the help unfortunately she died this afternoon she was perfectly fine in her self (still cheeky) and there where no signs of an increased temperature and they've all been checked for mites and worms
I have been feeding my chickens on mixed corn poultry grit and laying pellets.
I've only had chickens for a few months so i'm still getting used.
All my other chickens are fine just the little one was also slightly deformed and didn't have a long neck but she still managed to eat and drink maybe she had an underlying health problem.
