Title: Another Newbie

Hi everyone.
Just joined up - enjoyed reading some posts as a guest so took the plunge
I am the proud parent of two allotments (both on the same site) and both are completely different.
One being in full sun all day and the other being in partial shade.  Both sited on a watermeadow so watering is not a problem as the water table is only about 2 feet under the soil.  Its always nice and damp (and the weeds love it!).
Looking forward to picking your brains about growing things as the last time I attempted veggies was with my dad (probably about 30 odd years ago) - although he said its a bit like riding a bike - you never really forget how to.
