clear glass bottles are good as you can see the sediment easily so waste less beer.  All our beer is stored in the dark.  I also got given some large screw top 2 pint brown bottles which are great.  Our local brew shop in Balderton also had some for sale.

Plastic bottles for me!
Lemonade, coke , large and small. So long as they are pressure bottles with screw top.
It's the same as vintners getting rid of cork at last and using screw tops.

The reason white wine is now comming in screw top is taste.  Corks can impart an unwanted flavour on the wine.  Also ever so possibly because they are cheaper.

The wine industry lose a decent percentage to contaminated corks, It affects any colour wine.
