I got well rotted manure from a farmer it's three years old When I went to my allotment last night this note was on the shed This is only for my own use Any remarks on this this would help me thank you

This is what it looks like

What you use on your plot is surely up to you. Is the manure pile on your plot? If not move it onto your plot. Let everyone know that it is yours so mitts off. IMHO it is none of her business. I will use whatever I can get regardless of which animal it comes from. Some do introduce a lot of weeds, but anything to help the soil is good IMO. Politely but firmly say so.

They’re moaning because it’s got wood shavings in it and they’re frightened that it would cause woodlice and the other wireworm

The wood shavings takes longer to rot down than strawy manure, but it is still just as good for your plot. After 3 years it should be ok.
Wire worm are the larvae of the click beetle, and they lay their eggs in the soil, so can't see how they'd be encouraged by wood shavings.
All the people who use the Back to Eden method or the Permaculture method use woodchips/shavings, so really don't think there is anything to worry about.

They are talking out of a rear facing orifice!

They strike me as a busybody with too much time on their hands who like to tell others how to run their allotments. It's not even accurate regarding woodlice and wireworms. Just ignore.

Totally agree use it as you see fit and ignore the other comments

You have to use what you can get at the end of the day. This season I did some no dig beds with horse manure and some with cow manure. I feel the cow has given the soil more body than the horse if you know what I mean. The horse muck is finer and more akin to potting compost.
That said I am having a load of horse muck delivered tomorrow, so as I said use what you can get 👍👍

Looks like some god stuff you have there. It must be up to you what you use the improve the soil on your plot and I think you have to let who ever the busybody who left the note know that! I would not hesitate to put that on my garden, yes you will get some weeds but what is the hoe for ? As for the other pests mentioned I really doubt you will have problems with them.
