Silly question...

I have a plastic unheated greenhouse about 5ftX5ftX7ft.
I have put some seeds to germinate in trays.
Do I need to put the propagator's lid as well or is it enough in the greenhouse?

My greenhouses are unheated and until this month I had my seeds in trays inside an old aquarium inside the greenhouse, and covered with fleece!!!!

But with the weather at the moment, I've just got them in the greenhouse with no extra protection. You don't want them to get frost bitten, but then again, you don't want them dying of heatstroke!!! I don't know how different plastic is to glass though. Sorry, not being much help am I? But I try!!

On at night, off in the day if it's warm enough you have to be careful not to cook em, done that a few times myself

Yep, tricky at this time of year when the days are lovely but the night is dropping to near freezing. Hence the extra insulation of a lid at night,
