Its a greenhouse and I've been outbid, still has a day to go so I'm gonna wait until a few minutes before the end. Seems a popular thing.

If you really want it, wait until a few seconds from the end - how's your sniping technique?

That's a bit underhand!  I don't do that, but my method usually works quite well:

 Open the listing in two seperate windows, and arrange side by side.
 In one, enter your absolute max bid (as an irregular amount, eg £23.87)
 Don't confirm the bid yet, just get it to the window where you have have to press the one button to finish the bid.
 Use the other window to watch the last few minutes of the auction by continually refreshing the page.
 When the time remaining gets to just a few seconds (I usually do it at 5, but it depends on how quick your refresh works), hit the confirm bid button in the first window.

Assuming your max bid is higher than anyone elses, you should get lucky and win - if not, then you've not ben tempted to exceed your maximum and get carried away!

didn't get it. I think the person who got it paid too much. It needed a bit of repairing and went for £83.77 in the end.

I'll keep looking in the buysell.

i saw an ebay clock once which i think allowed you to track ebay time. not been able to find it since but some sort of countdown timer would be handy, in the quest to have the winning bid
always have a target
and an objective.

i put my greenhouse on tow rows of bricks then used cement to bed it down. i was going to bolt it and all that stuff but its been up nearly a year now and even in strong winds it does not move at all. it is glazed which makes it heavy. i think the plastic stuff is to light and would require a lot of securing. and possibly the parts of the green house structure used to secure it down, would tare in high winds allowing the greenhouse to topple. the aluminium is only very thin.

We get them offered free for removal in our loacal paper very often. If you do not have one yet its worth a look. Mine only took a couple of hours to remove. Then trailer it home. Make a "A" frame for the glass or clean it thoughly and lay it on some pillows in the boot a bit at a time.
