Yep same here. Thought I'd check Leeds to Bangor (closest National Express point to mum & dad's new place) and only normal fares  

But, I can go visit friends in Newcastle for a £1 so may have a little trip up there next month

A friend of mine several years ago had a whale of a time when these £1 fares started.  She lived near Sheffield.  She went to London, the Glasgow then Edinburgh on them!

Our nearest place is peterborough, but to get the £1 fare I'd have to be in Peterborough for the 10am coach.  Then I'd either have to get Brian to give me a lift there first or get a bus to spalding, then a train to Peterborough!   lol

Still, good for people who do live in civilization!!!!
