Hints and tips for a newbie.
« on: May 06, 2020, 10:34 »
Hi all, I've recently found this site and have to say it seems brill.
I got my first allotment, just a half, last July. Spent the remainder of 2019, clearing, clearing and more clearing. :)
This year things seem to be coming along nicely, mainly because of the extra time I can spend there at present.
Any particular do's and don'ts to be aware in my first year. Many thanks.

Just experiment and see what suits you and what you like eating.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Hi, Welcome to our lovely site.   Trial and error, and just growing what you like to eat.  Enjoy,   Mrs Bouquet

Keep a journal that you can look back on, photos & maybe a diary on here. You’ll learn from your mistakes as we al, do, I often make the same ones over & over again lol. Welcome to the site.
