Mushroom/Fungi Growth

Hi Folks,

Hoping someone can shed some light on

This has come up through my bark in the last week, and i have never seen anything like it, Is it edible? Or do i just leave it/pull it up?

Lots of fungi grow from bark chippings, and in this unseasonal warm (and in some parts wet) weather this year there have been more than usual.

I can't quite see from the photo enough for an ID, but i wouldn;t try eating them myself, Better safe than sorry
