Horse poo vs multipurpose

Which is better where and what should i be using for what?

The horse manure is well rotted of course.

The two are totally different.

Simple terms.

Multipurpose compost is errrr - a compost. Use for seeds & young plants.

Horse poo as a rule of thumb you should regard as a fertiliser for enriching the soil, not to be used neat.

This is a sweeping generalisation!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

horse muck and bagged compost are two entirely different products.
your question is very vague.

was that aimed at me?i should have read the other posts sorry.
but whilst we are on FYM is not classed as a fertilizer.it does contain nutriants but is classed as a soil conditioner.

If the straw or whatever had been composted instead of the horse eating it it would turn into multipurpose compost.

Therefore MP compost is horse poo minus the sh1t.

Can you put the the bags of manure they sell in focus,homebase, do it all etc straight in the soil to be planted in or is it not rotted enough?
