Title: Recommended Top Soil Suppliers...?
Post by: kath77 on April 05, 2007, 13:03
Can anyone advise me of a top soil supplier? Either local (Burgess Hill, West Sussex) or national with reasonable delivery. Bags from the garden centre are quite small and the websites I've found seem really expensive.

I've just moved house and am on the waiting list to get an allotment locally, but it looks like it'll be quite a while (35 plots, and I'm no.38 on the waiting list) so I thought I'd try to build some raised beds in my garden, which unfortunately is just clay/sand/waste covered in slate chippings :-(

Thanks,
Kath

our company uses a firm called Charles Morris.
dont know if they're on the tintaweb.
we buy topsoil by the lorry load, so i dont know if you will get smaller amounts. pity youi aint a bit nearer, we have a small mountain of the stuff at the moment due to a building project at the main offices.
