« on: April 27, 2011, 09:48 »
After having my girls for over a year and all being regular layers one of my girls has decided to lay a very strange egg shells it sort of ribbed/crinkley looks like melted and reset wax has been down it. Has anyone got any ideas as to what may have or is causing it.
two thing you should never worry about, yesterday and tomorrow.

I think those are called lashers.  My hens occasionally lay those too.  I'm sure someone will come along with much better advise for you.  I don't believe a one off is anything to be concerned with.
When I die I will slide in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand and chocolate in the other, screaming, "Whooo hooo!  What a ride!" as life is to be enjoyed to the fullest!
