runner beans can they be frozen

can you freeze runner beans, if so please advise.I would normally just top & tail slice the edges off  cut into diaganal pieces ,cook with oil & garlic. would freezing the beans affect how you cook them once frozen ,then de-frosted when ready to use at a later date

Blanch chopped beans in boiling water for one minute and put them into cold water.  Dry with a towel and freeze on a tray before putting them in a bag as you won't then get clumps.  Cook as normal.
Cheese makes everything better.
