my pepper plants are covered in little red and green bugs how do I get rid of the horrid mites.......my pepper plants are doing so well too, help I need to act fast

Bug spray
even a quick spray with diluted soap/detergent would help. I had some critturs on my peppers earlier in the year and gave them a good soaking with an insecticide spray from wilko and they are all fine now. Remember to do top and underside of leaves. Will probs have to spray the soil as well.

I use Provado Ultimate to kill my bugs.  It's very good and is safe to use on veg.  I don't spray anything I might eat within a week just to be sure.

If they are red velvet mites then they are doing you a favour and eating some of the other bugs that might come along.

Are the plants getting damaged at all so far? If so are they being eaten or having their sap sucked?
