Wood Shavings
« on: February 04, 2011, 08:03 »
Morning all.

This weekend we're cutting down too large cherry trees to make way for my new coop and run, I'm very excited.  Would it be possible to use the wood as bedding once its been chipped?  It would be brilliant if it could be reused.

Thanks

I wouldnt use the chips as bedding BUT I do use the wood chips on the run floor to help soak up poo etc.   Smells nice to and then makes a good compost!

Thanks for that, its just what I wanted to hear.  It would have been such a same not to reuse it.
