Not really sure where to post this but I thought some of you might be interested to know that Aldi have a pretty good wooden bird box, complete with webcam (cour, sound, night time viewing) and 300m of cable. Just plugs into the Av of your TV. £39

I got the last one in our shop, but it is very tiny.  The shop I mean not the box!!

Wow thats cheap cheap.  We have one that needs anew front as the woodpeckers have had a go at getting in there...........it was lots more than £40 tho

I've had a bit of a play now (indoors of course!) and it is fab! Hope it's not too late to get inhabitants thsi spring. All our other boxes have been up since October.

Yes it does!!! and night time b&w viewing. It has 30m of cable not 300m sorry!! It has a scart socket and a separate power cable.

Sunshine how long is the power? Plus how does it draw power?

I think a project is on methinks!

The power cable is about 1m long. This plugs into the electricity socket indoors, with another connector coming out and going into the scart to the TV. Connection from the scart to the camera cable. Hope that makes sense.

The instruction manual is very clear --- even I managed it first time!!
