Cheapo Polythene?  We just got a new sofa and the delivery man swiped the polythene pronto...has anyone sourced cheapo, poltunnel-appropriate, polythene recently?

allplas.co.uk isn't bad, although sofa polythene is obviously better
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Thanks for that....good site. :)

So, from there I can get 60 metres   of the right gauge stuff...but I only need five metres, tops , to make my poly tunnel...what do I do with the rest?...are there any places you can get smaller quantities?

Or should I buy the whole 60 mtrs and have poly tunnels for life?

CORRECTION
Having nothing better to do (other than study, and as any student will tell you enthusiasm is inversly proportional to the proximity of the textbooks) i popped out to wilkos for some of this sheeting, and to fuel the car up ready for work tomorrow.

A correction is in order - the polythene sheet is £3.99 and is 6m x 2m.

this is actually better for me dimension wise as my beans row is short but the beans are tall.

The item at £2.99 and 8m x 1.5m is the fleece. Which is a pretty damn good price as well if you ask me.

Its now raining and too dark to do anything in the garden.

:D

i cant blame you for it, most of the shelves are labeled up in the garden section but not stocked yet, i must have looked a wally squinting at the little writing on those hanger things trying to work out what would be going on them!

there was far less stock of most items today than they had yesterday!

That would be perfect dimensions but, is it that thin polythene (like dust sheet stuff) or is it reasonably thick ?

Although we have a Wilkos I'm not sure they are as geared up to the gardening fraternity as some of yours up north are...I'll go and check to see if they do it here.

Make sure your polythene is UVI, (ultra violet inhibited), otherwise it'll go brittle within a year.

.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
