A rose called Susie
« on: August 11, 2010, 10:16 »
Hi all,
This is the first time I've posted about things other than poultry and I just hope that someone can help me.  Does anyone know of a rose (prefferably) or any other plant or flower called Susie or Susanna.

Thank you
Kathie

I can't find any called Susie, the only one I can find is black eyed Susan. However Susanna means lily so would a lily be ok?
Staffies are softer than you think.

what a lovely idea as they will be missing her so much. When my dog Sammie died I planted some dog roses in her memory - it's a nice reminder of her when I see the flowers  :)

What a wonderful person you are for ideas!!

We have decided on both!!! We always bought Lillies for them when we visited as they are OH's mother's favourite, and dog roses to remember Susie.

It may be a little extravagant but we only see them twice a year as they live in Heysham, Lancs and we are in West Wales and are tied with our chooks and ducks (through choice).

Thanks again
Kathie
