Title: Black eyed susie seed

HI, can you sow last years Black eyed susie seed and get plants,I'm not getting any shoots after 3 weeks in a propagator,I know some seed have a life span,or am I just impatient.I get like It after Christmas  :unsure:

Provided it's not a hybrid variety, you can sow the seeds now. The seeds are good for a few years yet.

Thanks ,I didn't know If they would germinate being last years seed I'll wait a little longer and keep my fingers crossed.

I have always found this hard to germinate.

I was advised to soak for 12 hours before sowing to increase germination.

As i was having the same issues.

Thanks spottymint I'll give that a try, only got one to germinate as yet out fof  20.
