Title: I know there have been PO strikes, but this did make me laugh!
Post by: mumofstig on December 08, 2022, 10:43
I just received  a notice from Network Rail ....
"I'm sorry for the short notice, but we need to undertake essential works near your property, starting at 23.00 on 26th November.."
A bit more than a couple of days late, me thinks  ::)

I hadn't even noticed the strikes this year. So little is sent by traditional post now outside of spam and the HMRC I don't think I get any mail.

I'm a little surprised network rail didn't just send someone round with a wodge of leaflets to post at the time. The water board and highways agency do that here as they regularly dig up the main road over night.
