Title: Bubble wrap
Post by: hiccup on October 22, 2015, 20:04
      Evening All

I mentioned to my brother-in law that I was thinking of putting up bubble wrap
in the g/h this winter. He thought it hilarious, I should say he gardens in Dorset
and I garden in central scotland. so my question is, is it worth it ?

IMO yes definitely. It gives a bit of insulation in spring when things start to grow and also acts as shading in the full sun.

It will not help growing in winter but i always bubble wrap insulate my greenhouse !

Yes it is definitely worth it. Mine will hopefully be going up next week.

Just make sure you clean the glass well first , as it does cut down on light and clean glass does help a bit.
