« on: May 20, 2010, 09:20 »
Right
What is this bug which is the colour of elephant and looks like one with smothered top. we all would have seen that. Seems that they dont do any harm. and when my son asked what they are, all i can say was it is an elephant bug  ::)
One kid is handful. Two kids.... Example for chaos theory. Hats off to my mum who managed three...

They feed on rotting plant material and help to break it down. Sometimes when it is dry they bite plant stems to get moisture but on the whole they are goodies.

do you mean pill bugs mum  ;) the're called that cos they roll up into a ball that looks like a pill. wood lice are actually a different species. wool lice can't roll up, that's how you tell the difference    :)

just thought i'd mention that  ::)

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
