I thought this was sun scorch but Im not so sure now.
-
Looks more like a nutrient deficiency to me.
Can you give them a dose of epsom salts?
-
I would if I could find where I've put the packet. I've never seen them take such as nasty turn so fast. I'm really not happy with this Been and Queued compost, my squash are in much the same sort of state.

I'd be inclined to give them a general-purpose liquid feed in case they are starved of more than just magnesium, but keep the epsom salts standing by................

I fed comfrey Monday night - but they have only been in that compost for 2 weeks, it shouldn't be exhausted already.
Just been to B&Q and they don't have any Epsom salts - plenty of £4 peppers though.

As JayG says, good general purpose fertiliser would be a good idea.

I've just gone and given them a dose of miracle grow. Both at pot level and a quick foliar feed now the suns gone in. Hope that picks them up.
Might see if I can find a GC tomorrow and get some more epsom salts - bet the old packet turns up then ::)
