Title: Paprika question

I have a recipe that asks for hot smoked paprika.
Now, I have paprika, and smoked paprika, but no hot, smoked. None in the supermarket that I could see today  :ohmy:
So does anyone know if I can make up my own. Is it just paprika with chilli added, or is it more complicated than that!!

Do you have a Turkish store near you? That is where I get mine. Or online.

I have used smoked paprika and added some chilli powder  to taste.

No Mrs Bee no Turkish store that I know of, but there are a lot of Turkish people in the town where I work so will look around.
Online would be fine normally but I have defrosted the meat before realising my mistake  :lol:

I love smoked paprika found it by accident and carnt live without it now don't like ordinary paprika .
