Bramley apple tree

The apples on the tree are covered in brown spots really bad.

In my book it says this is scab and the leaves will be the same but on my tree the leaves do not seem to have the spots.

Also any advice about looking after this tree would be welcome.  The tree is about 20 years old.

more likly wasps they bite tiny holes in and then suck the sap .and also lay eggs the brown spots will have a hole in the centre
