Title: When is Selby Market on next?

Subject says it all really  :wink:   I want to take a 6 month old pure bred embden gander (big goose)  and also a 2 year old Embden X Toulouse gander. Very good quality, how much would these likely to fetch??

not  great deal .after ur paying commissions it would be £25 on a good day , try local paper sale first £25 for the adult bird £15 for the youngun

it was on saturday gone so its a week on saturday it is every fortnight init

thoughout october selby market is on every saterday du to it being closed most of september

Selby market is next on on saturday 27th for miscellaneous and fur/feather market. Its stock only tomorrow. I know this because i was planning on going tomorrow and so contacted them and asked -

The sale this Saturday is for cattle,sheep,and pigs only.
The next sale for miscelaneous items and poultry is next Saturday-27th/October.Current movement restrictions do not apply to poultry.

im wanting finally!!! to get my chooks! everything is ready for them now. But im working nights on the 27th :(

i think my little boy and the missus will go to the auction with F-In-L, he had his own smallholding years back so knows his stuff.

That is unless theres anyone on here whos in my area and has some POL chooks for sale?

 Im wanting to keep them for eggs so im after summat that gives good egg! i fancy welsummers as munty keeps spouting on about :lol: but im sure the wife will decide :)

It wont be much of a market on sat 20th


because all cattle and sheep moovment were banned by defra on thursday
18/oct
I recieved a phono call from DEFRA on thursday to say cattel and sheep
movement restrictions were in place for yorkshire
