Allotments in Taunton

Good friends are taking early retirement and moving from London to Taunton in Somerset. They will lose their big garden and are thinking about getting an allotment. They are also thinking about keeping bees. Hence on their behalf can I ask what the allotment situation is in Taunton and if bees are allowed on allotments please.

Have you tried googling allotments in taunton?

I've just done that and the first two links are to FOI requests about allotments in Taunton, I assume the right one.

You'll see there are about 25 district and parish council sites, run separately.

It doesn't mention bees and you might find that each council has its own rules.

I think they have quite a lot of legwork to do.
