Title: Banana Pepper - Bit of a Glut
Post by: Foghorn-Leghorn on August 19, 2010, 18:57
I have quite a lot of banana peppers and was wondering if there is any chutney or similar I could make with them?  I don't want to bore my family with meals involving said peppers for the next week or so but I would love to make use of them for longer in a chutney (if this makes sense!).  Does anyone have any ideas?

I have no idea what a banana pepper is, but there are 61 recipes under the 'Pepper' heading on the recipe section of the site ....  :)

I've tried looking through the pepper recipes (and the chutney recipes too) but I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience.  I will keep looking though

They're a pale green pepper with a yellow tint and are more elongated than usual peppers.  They look a lot like an overgrown chilli in shape but are mild.
