veg heights

Hi,

I've been planning my first veg plot ready to start planting this weekend, but am not sure how high each plant will grow.  I assume this is important because you don't want to grow short plants in the shade of taller plants.  Is there a website that will tell me this information? If not, could someone give me a rough idea for the following plants (small, medium, tall would be enough)

kale
broccoli (calabrese)
purple sprouting broccoli
perpetual spinach
spinach
chard
cabbage
broad bean (the sutton)
courgettes
carrots
potatoes

Many thanks!

If you plant your rows running north to south then they will all get the sun    I wouldnt worry too much, just keep your spacing correct between each row.

For crop rotation purposes it's more important to plant them in groups of type, rather than in order of height.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
