Hi everyone, just after a bit of advice.

I have two cockerels, one much older than the other and the younger one, with the "exuberance" of youth is dragging my poor hens under him to do what comes naturally. Now, he's not cutting them with his spurs as I frequently trim them, but where he is dragging them by the back of the neck is now plucked free of feathers. I look as though I have a flock of naked necks!

I've wondered whether spraying my poor girls with anti feather packing spray will do the trick, as I think if it carries on he's going to end up making their poor necks raw.

More than enough to go around - 30 hens to two cockerels, but he keeps picking on his chosen few.
