The winner will grow the biggest pumpkin rather than the heaviest.
There will also be a poll at the end for the prettiest pumpkin 
There is no prize just a note under your username to say you won 

The rules.....

  Newbies can register but must have 50 posts before end of competition.
  Names have to be registered by 30th June to count. List now closed 
  Please show the measurement, with photo to prove it, by 31st October, when competition will end.
  Pumpkins being grown for Exhibition Showing* cannot be entered.
   Anyone who disagrees with Moderators will be disqualified

  *This does not include a small local or allotment show.

Are there any rules on what kind of pumpkins we're allowed to grow? I've a few on the go but nothing like those huge Atlantic thingies, in fact most of them are little 'uns

If you want to grow the biggest, you'll need a big variety. If you want to grow the prettiest - size doesn't matter.

I will try never grown a pumpkin before . but I have planted 1 seed, atlantic giant and it has germaninated

so its a start .. will have to read up on how to grow now  and look after it
