I've been wondering about getting a greenhouse heater.

What are the advantages. My toms and peppers aren't shooting up as quick as I'd like.

To raise the evenin temps, mine has been on since my plants went in in march.

I was given for Christmas a electric fan heater with a low setting (frost control) and i switch it on in the evenings, it dose not seem to cost to much to run and keeps the temp to about 5%deg above frezzing.
All my seedlings are doing fine.
When i am repotting i do turn up the heat a bit.
The heater was a greenhouse heater so must be water resistant, i think.
