you can get aliminium paint,I dont know whats it like to use etc.
the ideal way is powder coating but that will cost you a few bob.as for cleaning then a good jet wash does the trick for me,but to prep it for painting i would use wire wool.
feed the soil not the plants
organicish

If you painted it pink you could start a new trend in colored greenhouses.
I'm lost without my SatNav.

I asked munty this question when i got my greenhouse ,we all know how he feels about hamerite paint ,now the wise ones answer to this question is that your wasting your time unless you use proper aluminium paint and its GOT to have an acid based etched primer .This will cost as much as the greenhouse a better alternative he suggested and i did it on mine use wire wool and really polish it up it wont last forever but will look better than the hamerite that will start peeling after 12 months
If the early bird gets the worm how come the 2nd mouse to the trap gets the cheese ??

http://www.nwepaints.co.uk Try these people for the aluminium primer. I found them helpful and knowledgeable. The did not try to sell me anything, just gave good advice.

The only advantage of powder coating is to the finisher as it is cheap. You can never get it off again, but somehow water gets underneath and bits drop off making it look a mess. Just look at car wheels as an example.
