Sad day yesterday
« on: September 23, 2012, 12:27 »
It was a sad day for us yesterday as we drove the geese, Kevin and Lily, to their new home with Kate and her ducks. It was a long and lovely drive, and they were very well behaved in the car, but it was a bit like leaving the kids at school for their first day, it tugged at the old heart strings. :( They have gone to a great new home, and it was very nice to meet Kate and her family.
The garden seemed very quiet this morning. Thanks for the update and pic Kate I'm glad they're settling in, we will miss them.

:(  That must have been really tough for you.  Sure you will have visitation rights though.
