Baz. I think you'll find they are more like 30-40 quid these days.  :)

I happened to be in Been and Queued yesterday and took a look at their offerings. They were already rusty  and made from pressed steel that was only just thicker than tin foil. I was also in Wickes Friday and they didn't have anything at all, I'll try a BM but as Andy says they're going to be more like 30-40 and no doubt they'll try and slap on a chunk of M.C.T.

Got one a couple of weeks ago from Jewsons - £39.  I've borrowed its older and more battered cousin from our builders so I know it takes a lot of hammer.  And turns on a sixpence.

Travis Perkins had them too ... but their on line site was so hopeless, I gave up before I found out what size or how much they were.  Countywide also had barrows when I called in, but they were smaller, posher and £10 more expensive.  The Wickes ones looked like they would crumple and rust under anything heavier than half a bag of compost.  Bah humbug!   >:(

We bought ours from B&Q 2 years ago. It has an orange plastic body with a galvanised frame and it has had some serious serious use since then and is still great. Was about £35 but it has been worth every penny. Had a couple of punctures but mainly due to all the hawthorn thorns from the jungle we had to cut down.
The reward of a thing well done is to have done it....
