Wilting Kales and brocolii
« on: July 20, 2011, 17:11 »
I have had very healthy Kales (Curly/Italian) and broccoli but the last few days of rain some are wilting showing no signs of disease. I have compacted them back in the ground as the heavy rain and water weight made them lean heavily.

Is it possible they will recover ?

As they were healthy to begin with they ought to recover.  A photo would be useful.
Cheese makes everything better.

Sounds as though they may have a poor root system. This could be due to cabbage root fly maggots eating the roots. Dig down and see if there are white maggots.
