Radish protection?
« on: April 19, 2010, 09:45 »
Ive not grown Radish before but decided to sow a couple of rows on the plot yesterday, had a little room left at the end of a bed.

Should I protect the radish seedlings/tops from birds? My plot is fully protected from wabbits but was wondering if birds like munching radish greens, should I protect my radish?

Thanks.

We lived for days on nothing but food and water.

You could put some Enviromesh on them to protect them from flea beetle, and birds.  It's not really necessary though as it's normally only the foliage which gets holed.
