Why is my compost bin sliming its way across the graden on its own???!!!  :lol:

i must have to admit that there hasnt been as many this year but then again its been quite dry as well,. i saw that about the leopard slugs on one of the springwatch progammes . but i was told something the other day an that is to place your pellets away from your crops at the end of the bed an the slugs will go right past your vegs an head for the pellets witout touching your anything and it works .

I don't seem to have many slugs either........but I do have snails - how does that one work then!! ???

Ive found 2 slugs so far . was expecting them to be a big problem.

Hardly any slugs and hardly any snails

Had a few littl'uns earlier in the year, then they disappeared.  But noticed nibblings so went out 2 nights ago and loads of snails and a couple of slugs.  Latter went into fairy liquid, former launched towards the alleyway.  But no more since, and went out just after dusk tonight and the frogs from the pond were out and about on the veg patch.
