last year I took cuttings of my geraniums and grew them on in my conservatory (first time) but they are a bit "leggy" I pinched out the fuchsias and they are fine but I am not sure how to do this with geraniums to make them bushy?

Yes or you can cut a bit more off them and then you would have cuttings from your cuttings 
They root really quickly at this time of year.

If you cut just above a node they will shoot from that point.

I would then cut of the section of stem under the next node on the bit you cut off before using it as another cutting. Thsi spare bit might rot otherwise

Is it a true geranium or a pelargonium?  Sometimes we gardeners get them muddled up.
