my birds are laying well
but the eggs are small

they are like bantam eggs ....
iam surprised as the birds are big....
is this normal

How old are the birds. If they are young and just  starting to lay the eggs will start off small and get bigger through time. Buff Orpingtons eggs are normally large.

Mine are quite big, used to get double yolks, but things are normal now, just big eggs

left is a marran egg
right is buff.

As Geo says it is their age. They will gradually get bigger
