I have some surplus sweet peas, if I put them in a hanging basket will they trail down?

They tend to climb, so they would probably just travel up the chain holding it up. i think you have to buy trailing sweet peas to do that. But I may be wrong :unsure:

If you keep them well fed and watered,  they will be fine  :D :D

I did not really mean a hanging basket, I meant a pot fastened to the wall, so no chain. Do you think that would be ok? They are not the trailing kind of sweet peas.

Yes they  will be fine, but as I said, they will need plenty of water to keep them growing well.

When they reach the top of supports, they just trail down usually  :D :D
