Very happy with progress on bed 3 my no dig onion bed. In amongst the onions I am trialling a row of carrots hopefully the smell of the onions will deter the carrot fly

I'll be interested to see how that goes (The carrots I mean) as I always grow under fine mesh now. Hope it is successful

I have done it a few times now: mixing carrots with onions and up till now no flies in either of them.

Maybe it was luck, but I hope it is a sign it might work
