Title: Chick Toys
Post by: chooknewbie on August 11, 2008, 21:32
Well, my six lil darlings are obviously finding their feet, cos they have now started pecking at each other...most often they go straight for the eyes!      :cyclopsani: ow!!

anyone got any babysized suggestions for things to amuse them with...have hung up a cd, and even lobbed in some sticklebricks just for something different to keep their minds off each others eyes!...dont want to scare the little mites but dont want blind babies either!

Mine seem to go for the feet and toes anything that moves its normal, I have kitchen roll for them to poo on, the patten sort it keeps them amused trying to peck at the patten also scatter chick crumbs all over so they keep moving.
Putting extra's in can cause leg problems if they fall over them just food dish and water dish is fine.
how old are they?
