Rosehip Jelly

I had some rosehips left over from winemaking and thought i'd try some jelly.

All the recipes I found had apple and lemon in so I went with that and its now straining through a bag right now. 

I don't think its going to be as clear as the nice pics online, any ideas why?
What if the Hokey Cokey IS what its all about...

No, just tipped the fruit and liquid in and strung the bag up to drip.

Maybe once I add the sugar tomorrow it will clear? or is that wishful thinking  :)

Things didn't turn out too bad at all with this jelly.

It threw a lot of scum which I skimmed off and that seemed to help with clearing it.  It still didn't look just as clear or just as red as the pretty pics i've seen online but it made up for that in taste, had it with some pork for dinner last night and it was beautiful.
