HI, y husband has just informed me he ordered 6 kelly bronze turkeys 6 weeks old a couple of months ago and they arrive on friday, he just forgot to tell me!!  we are going to free range them for Christmas, do they need a house like the chickens or would a shelter do with out a door. they will be kept within electric netting.

Well ours are shut in at night in their house, but Paul Kelly has over 1,000 Kelly Bronzes running around his woodland, with trees for shelter and a couple of dogs living with them (can't remember the breed) to help keep out any predators.

But I'm not brave enough to try that!  They will roost in the trees though!

Mine just roost up witht he rest of my hens, but they will need some form of shellter especialy in winter to keep them warm
