Title: cauliflower paratha.
Post by: prakash_mib on October 13, 2011, 08:42
It is so easy to make, even I made it yesterday.
ingredients
cauliflower - 1 (shred it in food processor)
onion - 1 (good size)
salt - to taste
mixed herb (schwartz) - 1/2 tsp
cumin seed (crushed/ground ) - 1/2 tsp
coriander seed (crushed/ground) - 1/2 tsp
garam masala (any of those will do) - 1-2 tsp

optional
curry leaves - a lil bit
coriander leaves - good amount chopped
hot pepper powder - I dont go there....

and ofcourse good lot of wholemeal dough

right!
in a bowl mix the shredded caulis, onion, salt and all the spices and leave it of 15 minutes (time to make dough). heat the pan on the side. take a ball of dough make a cup sort of fill it with good 1 1/2 tbsp of the stuff mix. stretch and close the dough and roll it.

they call it shallow frying but I would say toast it in the pan with unsalted butter.

Have it hot with plain yogurt, ketchup (nope...) or your favourite relish.

and ofcourse with a very hot cuppa.   :)

I made too much (good thing) and here is my brunch for today....  :)
