I know I'm most liking posting this in the wrong section....I'm still finding my feet.
Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy a relatively cheap greenhouse?
I'm looking for approx 10' x 8' and wow....they are pricey! I've been told that. Gumtree etc usually have them on the cheap but alas.....one cannot find these bargains...

I was looking last year and had to hang on for ages to ind anything "just right" on gumtree but there were plenty to choose from.  In the end I saw a great deal on a 6 x 4 polycarbonate aluminium one for £60 at b&m home stores which I opted for. Still not got it up yet due to moving house, but am planning to in time for next year. Just got to get rid of ivy first.

Also I was interested to read n article about the pros and cons about polycarbonate vs glass etc from the telegraph which takes into account pricing too:

Sometimes they are available on Freecycle, or your local equivalent.

I have acquired 2 through freecycle, a 6x4 and an 8x8. I had to dismantle and move. Needed new glass and new bolts to put it back together as the original bolts had seized and broke, and some of the glass broke in transit.

Thanks for the replies....I'm keep checking free cycle but someone always beats me to the punch! I shall endeavour to keep searching....just got the plot and spending the rest of this year planning and getting it sorted so not in a mad rush......yet
