autumn sown onions

as mentioned before i have tried for the first time autumn sown onions [ailsa craig] these are doing ok in
cold greenhouse not sure what to expect over winter these were seeds over from this year so i thought
worth trying something different watering very sparingly will keep updated   any thoughts what to expect
from bow like to grow

Worth a go if you had leftover seeds, but I'm not sure what you can expect.  How large are they?  If you can cosset them through winter at a small size they might be OK.  If they are a          bit larger, they might bolt as soon as it warms up next year, but you could always eat them as spring onions if they do.
